Maximum of 63 letters (“a-z”), numbers (“0-9″) and hyphens (“-”). Hyphens can not be located at the end or the beginning of a name. A domain name is not case sensitive. A name has to begin with a digit and end with a digit.
The domain name cannot begin or end with dashes. A .md domain can not contain dashes in the third and fourth positions (e.g. www.ab- -cd.md).

Other special characters, spaces or stressed vowels (such as à, é, ò, í) are not permitted.
